Adding Bidders through the Handbid iPad App
You are able to check in bidders from the Handbid iPad app using the PADDLE feature that is available in the top menu on the iPad.
To do this, go to your item view for your auction. Select the Paddle icon at the top of the screen. This will pull up a dialog where you can search for a user by their email address.
If the entered email is found the user will be added to your auction and their paddle number will be texted to them.
If the bidder email is not found, you can select CREATE ACCOUNT button and add a new bidder by entering their first name, last name, email, and cell phone.
A text message with the users paddle number will be sent to the bidder and their account will be created.
While the PADDLE ID will be sent to the user, it is always good practice to write this number down for the bidder and give it to them
