How to manage the guest list.

This article will cover how to manage guests after a ticket was purchased.

After the ticket purchase

You will learn how to empower your sponsors to add their own guests

More likely than not you want your sponsors to invite their own guests with the correct guest information (name, email, and phone number). This will show your sponsors how to add their guests to the Handbid site.

If you have purchased a ticket that includes multiple people, then Handbid may prompt you with the question, "Who's Coming?".  When you see this, this is an opportunity to update your guest list.

Otherwise, you can also go to either your dashboard (below)

or to your menu, where you can select tickets (below)

Either case will show you a list of your tickets purchased and any associated guests.  If you do not see your guests listed, PLEASE contact your auction manager to inquire about your purchase. 

Otherwise, the guest list will show the names of every guest. 

1. Click this icon to edit this guest slot. Here you can add a name, email, phone number, and any custom questions

2. Print your ticket

3. Send an email invite to your guest. You must have an email in the guest info to be able to do this. 

4. Send event and registration info along side the ticket to your guest.

When you are done, refresh the page, and you should see your edits updated. 

Adding an email address will allow you to send an invite to your guest to get registered.  Adding in a mobile phone number will further complete their setup and speed up check in at the event! 

Adding guests from the back end

Warning: If you add a ticket purchaser's guests from the backend, they will not be sent an invitation like they would from the user side.
